What To Expect With D’Aura Veneers In Dallas TX

There are typically about four visits if scheduling allows, and I would preferably have you start on a Monday. The reason is that after we take your records, we send your case to our designer for a customized Smile Design, and it may take a couple of business days for the design to return.

A typical treatment week would look like this:

Visit 1 — Consultation, Records & Smile Design
We will complete your examination, review your X-rays, evaluate the shortened roots and your bite, remove the fixed retainer when appropriate, and take your photographs, scans, and other records. Your case will then be sent to our designer for your customized Smile Design.

If you would like your remaining natural teeth brighter, we can also complete Zoom Professional Whitening ($499) during this visit so we can select your final veneer shade afterward.

Visit 2 — Smile Test Drive, Bonding & Retainer Delivery
Once your Smile Design returns, you will be able to Test Drive the proposed smile. This is where we evaluate the new tooth length, shape, proportions, and gap closure together before finalizing your veneers.

If you approve the design, we can proceed with bonding your six D’Aura veneers. I recommend reserving approximately the entire day for the bonding appointment. Your new clear retainer would also be delivered.

Visit 3 — Touch-Ups, Bite Check & Polishing
After you’ve had an opportunity to use your new smile, we will reevaluate your bite, complete any necessary refinements or touch-ups, and perform additional polishing. If a custom hard nightguard is recommended, we can also plan for delivery at this visit.

Possible Visit 4 — Final Touch-Up & Polishing
If anything needs additional refinement after you have had more time with your new smile, we can complete one final touch-up and polish before you return home.

Our current office hours are Monday and Wednesday 10 AM–6 PM, Friday 10 AM–5 PM, Saturday 9 AM–3 PM, and Sunday 11 AM–5 PM. We are closed Tuesday and Thursday. Because of our schedule and the Smile Design turnaround time, starting your treatment on a Monday is preferable. I would recommend keeping your travel plans somewhat flexible in case the Smile Design or final adjustments require additional time.
